Carolina Yacht Club Wedding | Charleston, SCCharleston, SC Nick & Elaine's Charleston wedding had the perfect mix of Lowcountry details, and personal sentiments to make it one of my favorite weddings of 2014. Using oyster shells and palmetto roses as the anchor decor details, Ashley of Fraiche Event Design was able to pull together a polished look from the church to the reception site. Oyster shell wreaths adorned the doors of the Church of Holy Communion, one of my favorite churches to photograph weddings in - in Charleston, and all of the bouquets and boutonnieres included palmetto roses. Nick, a firefighter, executed the use of "Big John" firetruck for the day's escape vehicle. We rode down to the Carolina Yacht Club for their wedding reception.
This wedding was such a joy to capture, probably even more so because these two have become very dear friends to me! Thank you for welcoming me into your lives as a friend, and for trusting me to capture your wedding day!!
