Cheekwood Estates & Botanical Gardens & the Hutton Hotel
Nashville Wedding Photography by sMm Photography
This wedding was exquisite! Cat is a musician, and Alex is an architect, together the pulled details that made their wedding very unique to them! Each of the bridesmaids wore their own version of a grey silk dress, while Cat wore a design by Amy Kuschel. (Prepare yourself to squeal with delight when you see her!) Cheekwood Estates & Botanical Gardens' Herb Garden held the ceremony, which was complete with a butterfly release during the ceremony.
At the reception at the Hutton Hotel, Cat and Alex had their favorite records framed for guests to sign--perfect for a musician! Dulce Deserts delivered a white fondant layered cake that tasted heavenly, and English Garden by Terry White created bouquets, boutonnieres, and tablescapes with white and green flowers, they were so clean and fresh!
Cat put together cones made of sheets of music filled with lavender for the send-off, and they had an "English Taxi" for the escape car.
The bride wore a gown designed by Amy Kuschel, the Audrey--I'm totally in love with the fit and the lace!
Each record was a special song to Alex & Cat. They asked guests to sign each framed record for them to display in their home after the wedding.
Cat made cones of music sheets and filled each with lavender for the guests. The guests threw lavender at the bride & groom; the porte cochere smelled heavenly!
Bride and Groom, Cat & Alex, had a fabulous team coordinating their wedding. Weddings by Helen handled coordination and event planning, Terry White of English Garden took care of the flowers, Dulce Desserts perfected the white wedding cake, and countless others helped pull off all of Cat & Alex's details!

P.S. That's it, I'm moving to Nashville." I caught myself saying that every time I talked to someone about my Nashville experience photographing Catherine & Alex's wedding! What an awesome city?! One month later, I still love every single memory & image from my Nashville trip! Perhaps I really should consider a move...:D
